1. Who We Are
Dwoje ("we", "us", "our") is a couples Q&A app operated by Krukit. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data when you use the Dwoje mobile application and website.

2. Data We Collect
2.1 Account Data
- Email address (from sign-up or OAuth provider)
- Display name
- Gender (optional)
- Profile avatar image
- Preferred language (Ukrainian, Polish, or English)
- Notification time preference
2.2 Couple & Relationship Data
- Couple invite code (used to link partners)
- Relationship start date (optional)
- Polls, poll votes, and poll questions you create
- Temperature check-in ratings (closeness, communication, support, trust, quality time)
- Pings and custom ping messages
- Milestones (titles, dates, notes)
- Nudge reminders (titles, recurrence settings)
- Planning lists and list items
2.3 Game Data
- Swipe game answers (liked/not liked per card)
- 36 Questions answers (open-ended text responses)
- Truth or Fiction rounds (statements, guesses, results)
2.4 Device & Technical Data
- Apple Push Notification service (APNs) token
- App version
- Device type and iOS version (via analytics)
2.5 Analytics Data
We use PostHog (EU-hosted) to collect anonymized usage events such as screens viewed, features used, and errors encountered. Analytics are tied to your user ID but do not include the content of your messages, answers, or polls. Analytics are disabled during beta testing.
2.6 Feedback
If you submit feedback through the app, we collect the text you write, an optional star rating, your app version, and your language setting.
3. How We Use Your Data
- Provide the service: authenticate you, connect you with your partner, deliver polls, games, temperature check-ins, and notifications.
- Send push notifications: notify you of partner activity (pings, polls, milestones) using your APNs token.
- Improve the product: analyze aggregate usage patterns to understand which features are used and fix errors.
- Respond to feedback: address bug reports and feature requests you submit.
We do not use your data for advertising, sell it to third parties, or build advertising profiles.
4. Data Sharing
4.1 With Your Partner
Your partner within the app can see: your display name, avatar, gender, language, poll votes, temperature ratings, ping messages, 36 Questions answers, Truth or Fiction statements and guesses, swipe matches, shared lists, and milestones. Your partner cannot see: your password, push token, personal nudges, or personal lists.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to any third party.
5. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored on Supabase infrastructure in the European Union (Frankfurt, Germany). We use row-level security (RLS) policies to ensure you can only access your own data and your partner's shared data. Passwords are hashed and never stored in plaintext. All data in transit is encrypted via TLS.
6. Data Retention & Deletion
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from the app's Settings screen. Account deletion permanently removes:
- Your profile and authentication credentials
- All content you created (polls, answers, pings, temperature ratings, game data)
- Your couple association (your partner will be notified)
- Your feedback submissions
Deletion is irreversible and processed immediately.
7. Your Rights (GDPR)
If you are in the European Economic Area, you have the right to:
- Access your personal data
- Rectify inaccurate data (via profile editing in-app)
- Delete your data (via account deletion in-app)
- Port your data (request a copy by emailing us)
- Object to processing or restrict processing
- Withdraw consent for optional processing (e.g., analytics)

8. Children's Privacy
Dwoje is not intended for anyone under the age of 17. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If we learn that we have collected data from a child under 17, we will delete it promptly.
9. Cookies & Tracking
The Dwoje mobile app does not use cookies. Our website (landing page) does not use cookies or tracking scripts. PostHog analytics within the app use device-based identification, not cookies.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the app or by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of Dwoje after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
